How to join

Applications for a place at the school must be made through Liverpool City Council. Parents and carers can apply online via the local authority admissions portal. Liverpool City Council provides full guidance on:

  • How to apply for a school place
  • Key application deadlines
  • The coordinated admissions process

The school does not process applications directly.

Admission Appeals

Parents and carers have the right to appeal against a decision not to offer their child a place at the school.

Appeals Timetable

The admission appeals timetable will be published on this website by 28 February each year. The timetable will:

  • Outline a deadline for submitting appeals which allows appellants at least 20 school days from the date they are notified that their application was unsuccessful to submit a written appeal
  • Include reasonable deadlines for:
    • Appellants to submit additional evidence
    • The admission authority to submit its evidence
    • The clerk to send appeal papers to the appeal panel and all parties
  • Ensure that appellants receive at least 10 school days’ notice of the appeal hearing
  • Ensure that decision letters are sent within 5 school days of the hearing, where possible

Appeals will be heard by an independent appeal panel in accordance with the School Admissions Appeals Code.

Further details on how to submit an appeal, including deadlines and required documentation, will be published alongside the annual appeals timetable.
